Full Journal pdf2000-04-26 House Journal Page 3529 SB 207 A message dated April 26, 2000, was read stating the Senate has failed to concur in the House amendment to: SENATE BILL NO. 207 "An Act relating to the establishment and enforcement of medical support orders for children; and providing for an effective date." namely, HOUSE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 207(RLS) "An Act relating to the establishment and enforcement of medical 2000-04-26 House Journal Page 3530 SB 207 support orders for children; amending Rule 90.3, Alaska Rules of Civil Procedure; and providing for an effective date." (technical title change) and respectfully requests the House to recede from its amendment. In the event the House fails to recede, the President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the House to consider the bills: Senator Green, Chair Senator Taylor Senator Elton Representative Green moved that the House recede from its amendment to SB 207, namely, HCS SB 207(RLS), and recommended that the members vote no. The question being: "Shall the House recede from its amendment to SB 207?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS SB 207(RLS) Recede YEAS: 0 NAYS: 35 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 4 Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cissna, Coghill, Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, James, Joule, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kohring, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Sanders, Therriault, Whitaker, Williams Excused: Moses Absent: Croft, Davies, Kerttula, Smalley And so, the House failed to recede. 2000-04-26 House Journal Page 3531 SB 207 Pursuant to Uniform Rule 42(a), the Speaker appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the Senate to consider the above bills: Representative Dyson, Chair Representative Whitaker Representative Brice The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate.
